Overview: This workshop provides supervisors and managers with skills and techniques to manage the performance of team members at all productivity levels. The workshop focuses on how to develop strategies to manage the varying levels of performance that exist among individuals on most teams. Emphasis is placed on individual assessment, development planning, coaching, and performance appraisal. Participants will have an opportunity to bring actual employee performance scenarios into the discussions and exercises.

Objectives: At the end of this training, leaders will be able to:

  • Assess the performance level of employees
  • Understand how employee motivation levels affects performance
  • Design and implement development and action plans for employees at all performance levels
  • Understand the importance of frequent feedback and coaching
  • Engage in effective performance evaluation discussions
