Overview: Leaders
will acquire skills for recruiting "the right" candidates, and
for conducting high quality, revealing interviews that are in sync with
current laws and restrictions.
Objectives:
By the end of the course, participants will:
- Create a high quality
job description that perfectly depicts the responsibilities of the role,
- Develop a pre-screening
process that narrows the candidate pool to a manageable level,
- Define three ways
to solicit interest in a job opening,
- Develop behavioral-based
questions that align with the responsibilities of the role,
- Conduct an interview
that is professional, effective and in alignment with the law,
- Apply a ratings
system to interviewees, and
- Display confidence
when making a job offer.
Time: Recommended
as a Full-Day, but can be shortened to a Half-Day.
