Overview: This workshop
covers personal and work-related stress as it relates to a depletion of
energy, lack of involvement, and the inability to function at a peak level
of performance. Emphasis is on learning to manage, maintain, and renew
through self-management techniques.
Objectives: Attention
is given to effective coping skills. Several methods for coping are introduced.
Participants will:
- Assess their stress levels
in various environments, their effective and ineffective methods of
coping, and wellness level
- Practice various methods
of stress reduction
- Identify personal stressors
and strategies for improvement
- Work toward attaining peak
performance
